
Esther
"Mana" Rosa, of Edna, passed away Thursday, April 10, 2008. She was born on Nov.
18, 1933, in Ganado, to the late Christopher Rosa Sr. and Paula S. Lara Rosa of
Edna.
Mana was a very active part of our community as a retired paralegal, member of
the Woodmen of the World, member of the Baptist Community, Family Services of
Air Force, Immigration Services, Victoria Social Security Office, and
co-coordinator of Meals on Wheels.
Mana is survived by her mother; daughter, Polly Grudzieski and husband Wayne of
Edna; sons, Bobby Hernandez and wife Betty of Edna, Adolph Hernandez and wife
Sherry of Austin, Adam R. Garza II and wife Miriam of Houston, and Michael Garza
and wife Betty of Corpus Christi; sister, Elizabeth Jeannie Villaloba or
Charlotte, N.C.; and brothers, Alfred Rosa Sr. and Chris Rosa Jr., both of Edna.
She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and several
nieces and nephews.
